- Stunt Madness:
On the movie, "Live Evil", we got to
smash up a classic El Camino as part of a car chase in the desert. It
was fun stuff. I'd like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard
work.
- Scarey Monsters
in Space!!!: The Sci-fi flick, "Plaguers"
is wrapped. We shot on High Definition with the Panasonic Varicam at
Laurel Canyon Stages. Here's Steve Railsback getting ready to get to
work. Photos courtesy of Stan Eng (he's my gaffer too!).
- Shooting
Nature's Wonders: I got to visit beautiful Yosemite
and shoot video for a group that wants to supply Segway people movers
to disabled vets of the Iraq and Afganistan wars. I worked with fellow
shooter Doug Cragoe.
-
Comedy
with Tom Green: Editing
has wrapped on a piece for Activision computer game company featuring
Tom Green as a crazed account rep., an unknown superhero, "Baked
Potato Man" and a expert skateboarder. Tom was a gem and so was
my crew.
- Behind the
Scenes: I just wrapped shooting making of footage
for the horror/dark comedy feature, "Urban
Decay" starring Dean Cain, Brooke Burns, Meatloaf, Tim Thomerson,
Duane Whitaker and many more. The film is directed by the funny Harry
Basil, shot by the eagle-eyed Howard Wexler and written by editors Don
Adams and Harry Picardi.
- Going Underground:
I got to do a little caving as part of a documentary
shoot in Dolgeville. NY. The documentary is about the retrieval of the
remains of a caver whose body was trapped in cave for over 40 years.
It was a interesting shoot. I shot on HDV with the Sony Z1U. The picture
is from the AP Wire. Stories on this were featured in over 200 papers
worldwide.
